Senhime Zesshou Symphogear 戦姫絶唱シンフォギア Episode 6

-been talking to friends about Symphogear pretty often lately, so i figured i should go ahead and put this up now.

Episode 6! This episode is actually pretty load back for the most part, until some pretty surprising stuff happens toward the end.
Read on to find out..

Kurisu remembers what happened at the end of the previous episode.

she's referring to Hibiki ^^;

that previously unnamed torture woman-san is now named:
Fenie.

in a flashback, Kurisu remembers how she came into the 'care' of Fenie.
it looks like here city was destroyed by the Noise.

at this point, i'm not too sure it was the Noise.
the flashback is just in flashes of pictures, with little explanation about Kurisu's actual past.

oh my kamisama.

Not only do we discover this woman's name [Fenie, if you've already forgotten ^^;]
but we also get to see her face, which we didn't see for like the past 2 episodes she's been in.

i'm preeeetty sure that's like the compact version of the Nehushtan armor
Kurisu has been seen wearing since episode 3.

Fenie interests me. Probably because there's no background on her yet.

is it just me..
or do Kurisu's oppai seem  or do those bushes in the background look lovely?

Meanwhile, Tsubasa is still recovering from singing her Zesshou in episode 4.

she's referring to what Kanade told her in her dreams while she was unconscious.

ICU = Intensive Care Unit, for those who didn't know ^^;

back in her hospital room, Tsubasa looks outside the crazy huge window to see..

..Hibiki and Miku running the track.
Although Tsubasa doesn't know Miku.. YET? *DUN DUN DUUUNNNN*

Hibiki thinks about what happened in the previous episode,
when she used Durandal to nearly kill Kurisu.

Miku is concerned for her good friend.

In the HQ, Uncle Kazanari returns from the funeral of that government official from the previous episode.
Defense Minister Hiroki or something.
Here, we get into more adult talk with politics and such..

i still like her ^^
don't even remember her name, though >_<;
i wonder if she even has one yet.

Later, Ogawa-san calls Hibiki to ask a favor.
^^the life of managing an idol recovering from rehab is tough^^

they then proceed to bring him a bulletproof vest.

Miku then comes and asks Hibiki to go to the library with her, but..

yeah. Hibiki's so mean to nice, nice Mikuuuu~

Hibiki arrives to do the favor for Ogawa-san..

i thought something awesome happened.

Tsubasa-chan looks good here ^^

this is actually quite awesome. wasn't what i was expecting, but awesome all the same.

that idea actually makes sense. way to go Hibiki.

embarrassed Tsubasa is just not as appealing to me as serious Tsubasa.

it actually is surprising. Hibiki's right here.
but this imperfection makes me like Tsubasa-chan more~

but then what's really surprising is that Hibiki is actually good at cleaning ;D

meanwhile, while Tsubasa and Hibiki are having their friend moment, Miku's checking out books.
ironically, the book she spends time looking at is titled
"How to be Honest With Yourself" or something along those lines.

but then..

i actually did not see this coming. i mean, i knew Miku had to find out about
 Hibiki's 'secret life' sooner or later, but it just didn't seem the time.
but seriously.. why are the windows so big AND see-through?!

poor Miku.

she puts the book back.
rather than herself needing to be honest, it's Hibiki who's been lying to her.

back to Tsubasa-chan and liar Hibiki.

she's referring to the events of episode 1.

what an interesting way to view positive thinking.

Tsubasa's explanation totally makes sense.
She's a genius.

they then go up to the rooftop to chat some more.

Hibiki feels so bad for pointing Durandal at Kurisu,
because she's a person, not a thing like the Noise.

Tsubasa-chan is starting to seem like the wise old man character here..
especially with the cane ;D

Tsubasa really does have some wise words.

.. and Miku walks alone..

Miku stops by their favorite okonomiyaki place^^
[okonomiyaki is like the japanese equivalent to pancakes]

it was a sad moment..
until i noticed that not so obvious poster xD

..And Hibiki is still accompanying Tsubasa.
not that i don't love seeing more Tsubasa-chan, but i can't help
but feel so bad for Hibiki not being with Miku at this time.

i totally forgot what the pancake lady said.. and i didn't take any screenshots of it so..

it's that "thinking on an empty stomach only causes bad ideas"
or something along those lines ^^;

Tsubasa-chan looks happy, yet she also looks like she's gonna pass out any minute ^^;

Hibiki's gotta have another confrontation with Kurisu..

BUT MIKU SEES HER FIRST.

wait a minute, Miku looks like that girl that died from the Noise attack in episode 1..

OH SNAP. HIBIKI"S GONNA KILL SOMEBODY.

Kurisu actually seems concerned about this.
I guess she really just needs to get Hibiki for Fenie.

what has been seen cannot be unseen.

now seriously. after seeing something like THAT, what would you do?

Hibiki sings, activating her Symphogear.

she has now seen it all.

METSU SHORYUUUUKENNNN.

she has been exposed.

Miku's like O.O

how are they even getting a video stream ;D

Hibiki distances them from Miku.
good thinking on her part.

oh yeah, Kurisu keeps calling Hibiki a *insert expletive here*

what is going on?..

apparently Kurisu doesn't know either..

ohhh! i get it.
she has a point. awesome.
she must've taken some of Tsubasa's wisdom.

Kurisu hates the way Hibiki talks about people like they can reason with each other and be equal.
the reason Hibiki's words anger her is her tragic past, and not being able to trust anyone.

oh. bad words. so sorry >_<

his character design looks a bit different from past episodes.
he looks older and less invincible ^^;

why so surprised, Kurisu?

WHAT IS THIS I DONT EVEN-

oh. that was the energy used to call out armed gear.
not a hadouken, kamehameha, tiger shot, etc..

Kurisu fires her tentacles weapon things at Hibiki, only to have them caught by her.

oh snap.

how nice.

When running at Kurisu to falcon pawnch her,
Hibiki somehow activates jets on the back of her Symphogear. Pretty awesome.

we end with Kurisu damaging her armor even more,
Hibiki feeling anxious about revealing her secret,
and Miku.. so confused.

END

-it's nice to have these episodes once in a while; relaxed and peaceful for the most part, and then the really big stuff comes at the end.

like Miku finding out about Hibiki's secret. i wonder how she'll deal with it. and also how she'll deal with finding out Tsubasa has the same secret. 

it would actually quite sugoi if Miku joined in, too ^^
