Synopsis: The Shirakiin house's daughter, Shirakiin Ririchiyo, who has a complex about being unable to live independently and unprotected, feels the need to move out and live on her own under the condition of residing in the mansion named Ayakashi Kan. In this mansion, only those who have cleared a very strict examination could reside in it, and for each resident, they are accompanied with one agent of the Secret Service (S.S.). Although Ririchiyo has rejected the company of the S.S., while residing in the mansion she finds out that the agent dedicated to protecting her is actually the Fox Spirit whom she previously rescued.


- it looked interesting, so i picked it up. also loved Ririchiyo's and Karuta's character designs.

Shirakiin Ririchiyo, our protagonist.

she's had a problem with talking down to others since she was little.

she does it subconsciously, and always feels guilty afterwards.

childhood friend, Sorinozuka Renshou, already lives in the mansion.

i like what she's wearing.

here we meet the inu, or dog, of our pair: Miketsukami Soushi.

he's Ririchiyo's assigned Secret Service.

he'd be fine with being treated as a dog by Ririchiyo.

Ririchiyo refuses..

.. so Soushi gives her a katana.

Later, Ririchiyo has nightmares that seem to be flashbacks of her childhood..

..though one could argue that she still is in her childhood ^^;
loooooliiiiiiiiii~

her loyal SS agent was waiting by her door since 6 AM.

another SS agent, Roromiya Karuta.

really like her character design.

she gives Ririchiyo a snack as ^

the SS agent of the childhood friend (Sorinozuka Renshou, if you've forgotten),
named Nobara Yukinokouji.
she's openly fond of women and takes a liking to Ririchiyo.

more flashbacks.

apparently she was bullied in the past because of her family being famous and well known.
as a result of being ridiculed so much, she developed the superiority complex that she has now.

as depressed Ririchiyo is depressed, a burglar breaks in and tries to steal from her..

..but this is what he gets.
Ririchiyo explains that the people in the mansion are sent there for protection because of their
youkai (monster) forms within them.
She mentions "somewhere along the line, my ancestors mingled with monsters." to explain why she has a youkai form in the first place.

Soushi rescues her in his youkai(monster) form.

yep. he's a dog.
he kisses her foot.

Renshou, Karuta, and Nobara also showed their youkai forms.
Karuta's is awesome.

END

Overall, i enjoyed the episode quite a bit.
Again, Karuta's youkai form is awesome :D
I know there are more characters to be introduced, so I'm looking forward to it.
