At first, he is reluctant to teach small girls, but he devotes himself to the club as he knows the complex circumstances of them.

Papa no Iu Koto o Kikinasai パパのいうことを聞きなさい Episode 9
wow, so late on this ^^; the next episode already comes out tomorrow >_<
Anyway, i wasn't quite sure what to expect from an episode all about Miu-chan except for probably less innocence[is that a good thing?] cuz of how Miu's character has been developed so far.
But i was pleasantly surprised to see that Miu isn't always suggestive.. just around Yuuta ^^;
This episode really gets down to the core of Miu's personality, and we get to see a few more of her quirks.
T_T nooooooo~
When i say that this episode is all about Miu, i really mean that it's all about Miu. With the exception of a few scenes at the beginning and the end of the episode, Sora-chan, Hina-chan, Raika-san, and Yuuta are barely seen for the whole episode.
So this should give you your Miu fix, since PapaKiki has seemed to be lacking of Miu as recently.
Anyway, I LEAVE YOU WITH ZE SCREENSHOTS>>>

AniSong of the Day/In Other News: Dear My Friend -the future not yet seen- [Dear My Friend -まだ見ぬ未来へ-]/ Tohoku Kantou Earthquake Anniversary 3/11
-One year ago today, although it's already the 12th in Japan >_<, a magnitude 9.0 earthquake struck the eastern side of the islands of Japan. A devastating tsunami rose soon after.
You can read more[and also better] coverage on the anniversary over at DannyChoo/CultureJapan.
Word that come to mind when i think of a crisis such as the one of Tohoku/Kantou 2011 are devastation, destruction, and loss.., but the one word that stands out in my mind the most is hope. In the midst of a disaster, hope is what's needed to get through it alright.
And that's why i think the above song^^ Dear My Friend-the future not yet seen- is a great representation of hope and Japan's rising to overcome the disaster the fell upon them.
The song is by Elisa and is the first ending song for anime To Aru Kagaku no Railgun [とある科学の超電磁砲].
In the song, Elisa sings:
"ダイジョウブ!
元気出して 私がそばにいるから
今日のミス 悔やむより 今 乗り越えて"
translated as:
"It'll be fine!
Cheer up, because I'm here with you.
Instead of regretting today's mistakes, we should put them behind us now."
This can represent how the areas of Japan that were not affected as badly by the disaster and also how the rest of the world could feel and give support to the devastated people.
She also sings:
"ダイジョウブ!
迷わないで まだ見ぬ未来へと向かって
ずっと 歩いてゆこう"
translated as:
"It'll be fine!
Don't feel lost. Let's face the future we haven't seen yet
And keep on walking."
This further describes what i mentioned earlier. A message of HOPE for the future.. that we can rise above the crisis and disasters and be cheerful for the road ahead.
Here are some of my favorite がんばろう!日本 or Do your best, Japan! pics that spawned from otaku supporting the relief and rescue efforts:
I know that since the disaster, the Japanese and also many foreign countries have worked hard to restore the areas affected, and i am very glad.
Although it won't make much of a difference, i support you guys! :D

AniPose of the Day: Takei Hisa [竹井 久] of anime series Saki [咲-Saki-]
AniPose #5!
Here we have Takei Hisa of anime Saki[咲-Saki-].
As you can see, she is closing her eyes while stroking her hair in an uncomfortable, slightly tsundere fashion, as if to say, 'I can't believe you just said that', or 'I wish you'd just realize how i feel about you already.'
However, if you've seen the show, you would know that Hisa isn't really much of a tsundere ^^;
This picture really makes her look like it, though.
You can check out her non-tsundere-but-still-quite-coolness in the series, here.

Senhime Zesshou Symphogear 戦姫絶唱シンフォギア Episode 9
-Last week i went on and on about how awesome the episode was and how i really loved the development of Yukine Kurisu's character..
BUT THIS WEEK!
This week the star of the show is KAZANARI TSUBASA~
But don't worry fellow Kurisu fans, she's got her fair share of screen time:
I SEE YOU'VE DONE YOUR HOMEWORK.
like a BOSSU. |
oh yeah, and both Miku and Hibiki get some time in as well.
KARAOKE EPISODE! Part of this episode is filler episode material. But I'm not complaining. So far the show's been full of action each episode.. further guaranteeing the fact that this series will only be 13 episodes T_T
Tsubasa goes Idol and rocks the stage.
Hibiki's gotchyo back, Kurisu.
nice.
Exciting enough?
Read on for the whole episode!

^^pic is a bit blurry cuz i was in the passenger seat of the car driving home..
but yeah. you get the point.
IT'S MERON PAN!
Here's a brief history of the wonderful MelonPan taken from Wikipedia:
Melonpan (メロンパン meronpan), also known as Melon pan, Melon buns or Melon bread, are sweet bakery products from Japan, but also popular in Taiwan and China. They are made from an enriched dough covered in a thin layer of crisp cookie dough. Their appearance resembles a melon, such as a rock melon (cantaloupe). They are not traditionally melon flavored, but in recent times it has become popular for manufacturers to add melon to melon bread. Variations exist, including some with a few chocolate chips between the cookie layer and the enriched dough layer, and non-melon versions flavored with caramel, maple syrup, chocolate, or other flavors, sometimes with syrup, whipped or flavored cream, or custard as a filling. In the case of such variations, the name may drop the word "melon" ("maple pan") or may keep it despite the lack of melon flavor ("chocolate melon pan").
The name has a bilingual etymology, since melon is a loan word from English, while pan is from the Portuguese word for bread.
In parts of the Kinki, Chuugoku, and Shikoku regions a variation with a radiating line pattern is called "sunrise", and many residents of these regions call even the cross-hatched melon pan "sunrise".
I have to say, i wasn't quite sure what to expect from the almighty MelonPan when eating it. was half expecting to be teleported straight to japan ^^;
but nope... it was good though T~T

WHY THANK YOU, AYATSUJI-SAN!

AniPose of the Day: High School Girls Are Funky skit [女子高生は異常] of Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou [男子高校生の日常]
AniPose #4!
Here we have the 'HighSchool girls' Yanagin, Ikushima, and Habara of the currently airing series Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou [or Daily Lives of High School Boys].
As you can see, the girls are expressing their desire to have an AniPose of the Day, as if to say 'This should work', or 'Is this angle okay?'
If you've seen their skits, which are usually in the last 5 minutes of the show, you would know that these happy expressions are quite rare. If this were in the show, they would say 'TAKE THE PICTURE ALREADY', or 'WHAT'S WITH THE STUPID BACKGROUND'.
it's quite entertaining.
You can check out their craziness in the series, here.
